Term 3 Week 2

Our superstar Lucas hosted alongside Rm 21's Eloise at our Koru Assembly.  What a brilliant effort Lucas you are a natural at public speaking.

Our wonderful GEMS performing for the first time in front of an audience.  AMAZING!

Koru assembly awards went to Lucas, Marley and Ali.  Well done guys you are putting in so much effort and it is paying off!

Here are our little publishers reading their stories then sharing with a partner. This is our first published story for Term 2.

Publishing gives our students ownership on their work.  They are both the author and illustrator of their work.  The children are very proud of their effort and they enjoy bringing their books home to share with you. Please do not forget to comment in the front of their books.

What a week!

Our little 5 year old's will remember this year forever.
We're doing super amazing things with our learning.

This was an awesome collaborative exercise where we "GOT THINKING" about the sun and what things would be effected if we had no sun!

Go the boys! they were so happy to complete ALL the cards! Yay Ali, Timmy and Timothy.

Wk 5 Big Book Huggles' Cold and our colorful artwork.

During week 5 Rm 23 read the book Huggles' Cold.
This story was about Huggles and how when he got sick, his belly button would change from yellow to blue.  His friends and teacher decided to help him by showing empathy and kindness.
Rm 23 students coloured in Huggles' with crayon and dye.  They each gave me two sentences about Huggles' and we added it to our colourful artwork.
