During week 5 Rm 23 read the book Huggles' Cold.
This story was about Huggles and how when he got sick, his belly button would change from yellow to blue. His friends and teacher decided to help him by showing empathy and kindness.
Rm 23 students coloured in Huggles' with crayon and dye. They each gave me two sentences about Huggles' and we added it to our colourful artwork.

Huggles is one of my favourite big book characters. I love that you linked the message from the big book to our GEMS! Great job Room 23.
