Week 3 Room 23

This week Room 23 have enjoyed another week of learning both in the classroom and outdoors on the track and in the pool!

Our children have been learning about letter names and sounds and developing skills with identifying upper and lower case letters.  We have also been counting numbers up to 10, 20 and sometimes up to 100 here are few pics from this weeks fun!

Week 2 Koru Whanau Certificate goes to Emily and Samuel

Koru Whanau had an assembly this week and Emily received a certificate for her effort in helping in Room 23 and being a caring classmate!

Samuel also received a certificate for his great class contribution towards learning and his enthusiasm that he brings to our class!

Week 2 Term 1 Room 23

Week 2 in Room 23!

This week has been a busy week again.  The students have made friends and have established some good strong routines.  The weather has been very hot!  We have had a great week with water safety whilst enjoying developing confidence in the pool and we have learn't about the rules and pushed ourselves to build on our skills on the bike track!
